While I’m obviously still in denial that my vacation to Islamorada is over, I have a fun treat for you today – a Florida Keys brewery tour. Also a bit bittersweet about the final installment of our Wanderlust Wednesday linkup. Hopefully you all can linkup today!
So, I found a few snaps in the archives from these two breweries on the island – Islamorada Beer Company and Florida Keys Brewing Co. So close to each other and both worth the visit. [Also – good to rest and visit on your way to Key West if you’re driving through!]
Pamela, the boys and I explored these two breweries on our first day in the Keys last week (more realistically, it was the first item on the list after lunch). We had to visit Islamorada Beer Company due to the first taste of deliciousness -Sandbar Sunday (their signature beer) – that we sipped last year in Key West.
How cute is that building right?
Afterwards (why not?) we headed to another local joint, Florida Keys Brewing Company as our second stop on our mini Florida Keys brewery tour. Pamela did her research and she scored with both I must say! This place was a little tucked away, where the other was right off the main drag, but still a short drive or walk in between one another.
You can see I had the highlighted beers above. The beer called Shenanigans was finished in Jack Daniels barrels. I didn’t hate that!
I had a nice mixture of light and dark beers overall and it was hard to pick a favorite. I may be partial to Islamorada though, I can’t lie. So what are you waiting for – go check them out!
