Hey Friday favs and welcome to December! How are we? Did you (barely) survive the week, like moi? Sigh. I cannot handle these long weeks post-holiday. I think it’s the mix of too-much-to-do combined with the holiday rush coming. These next few weeks are sure to be chaotic, but I also wouldn’t have it any other way.
I don’t know about you, but I have been a slacker and a half this year when it comes to holiday home décor at my place. I still need to decorate – all I’ve done is throw a hat and scarf on Bert & Ernie (check out my insta in the next few days to get a preview of that). I may have to drag my brother into decorating this weekend. Aka I’ll hand him a beer while I play around the apartment. Ha.
Anyway, this week’s current obsessions centers around – you guessed it – holiday home décor. Here’s some finds I scoured this week that are on my wishlist.
- Edgewood plaid flannel sherpa throw from Target – Under $30 and cute Christmasy colors? Yep, sold. I think the only thing that may be more perfect would be a red and black buffalo check. But for this price, you can’t go wrong.
- Sculpted reindeer object from Pottery Barn – I really love these deer. My mom has a set at the Kentucky house and they fit just about anywhere. I love their shape. Goals, right? KIDDING. Kinda.
- Holiday icon canapé plate from Anthropologie – These are vintagey and cute. I love the ‘reindeer’ and the ‘friends’ versions. Fun to collect at only $10 each.
- Polar Bear 23″ holiday pillow from Crate & Barrel – I really love this little guy. I have a soft spot for polar bears (hello h.s. mascot, plus they are über cute). If you don’t love the price point (read: me), then here’s an alternate version for less than half the price.
Ok that’s all I’ve got for today, my little snowmen. Hope you have a fantastic rest of your Friday and extraordinary weekend! I’m picking up my little bro in a few hours to hang with him these next few days and I’m BEYOND excited. Stay tuned for more of our shenanigans on snap (cheshirekat1022) and insta (@kerri1022). No holding back on my word vomit lack-of-filter train. What else is new.
