A fun quote near and dear to my heart (and Laur’s) – with a twist = today’s blog title. If you know where it’s from we could be friends in real life.
So now the weekend. If you followed along on Twitter/Instagram you probably have an idea of what went down. But if not, here’s a blog-style recap.
Friday was spent celebrating two of my friend’s birthdays. Jamie and Melissa. They are the best. We rounded up a couple girls and went to Sonoma Draught House for dinner. Much food was consumed, with some beer and wine as well. Then we ventured to Stardust, where some of us had crappy drinks (thanks to the waitress for making us new ones!) and had fun being silly. After that, some of us left – and who knows where the night took the rest of the group. I hope it was fun!
Saturday. Started out at the salon to get those sweet roots of mine touched up. I’ll spare you the boring details but here’s a before and after. Side note – I’m becoming the selfie queen. Sigh. I need to start figuring out how to use my phone spider stand + timer app.
From here, I picked up Nicole and we shopped til we dropped. (Do people even say that anymore?) From Target to the mall, we were able to find some cute clothes for her vacation and the 4th of July outfit (ok, just shorts – but they are so cute!) that I’d be searching for all day. Oh and I got one of those adorable insulated mason jar mugs you see below. After that we relaxed with a movie and yummy food. I only captured meal #2 as you see below. Ha.
Sunday was a bit more laid back as the weather was less than stellar. At least it was productive. And got a lot of blogging done (and maybe some Game of Thrones – my current addiction). The weekend ended well with some food/drinks with some fabulous ladies, Leyda and Angie at the Capital Grille.
OH – and most importantly – today is my parents’ anniversary! Happy happy day to my mom and JB!
