I know everyone claims to have the best mom but I really believe I do. It’s all too difficult to describe just how much she means to me. But on this Mother’s Day, I shall try.
Glued to her side since birth, we did everything together (sometimes I was a little too clingy, sorry mom). But no one even came close. She didn’t work (but oh being a stay at home mom is work I know that), so she could be with us and I can still say I am forever grateful for that. From days after school coming home and seeing her there, to the family beach vacations to Stone Harbor to simply eating popcorn and watching soaps- I had so many great memories growing up.
She is always there when I need her and still always has time even when no one else may. Always offering advice or even just an ear to bounce ideas off of – she is my biggest cheerleader in this crazy life.
I hope if I am ever lucky enough to become a mom someday, that I will be even half as good as she is. So thank you mom for everything all these years and for everything that is to come. I love you!
