Orlando is one of those cities that keeps going and going. I say that because once you go beyond downtown, you can find multiple hidden gems that you wouldn’t normally think about. And that’s where Chroma comes in.
Nestled in Lake Nona outside of the city limits of Orlando, Chroma serves small plates and craft beers in an intimate setting within a beautiful part of southeast Orlando. They have happy hour from 3:30-6:30pm Monday through Friday, but also have great small plates served from lunch to dinner every day of the week.
Since they are a new-ish restaurant, I recommend making a reservation if you’re in the area. Also make sure to take advantage of the amazing view of the light sculptures outside when the sun is setting. You won’t regret it!
My favorite food included the tuna poke (pictured above), fish tacos, and the meatballs. We also tried the spring rolls, fish and chips, and buffalo chicken wontons. Yum! Really, everything I had there was a home run – including the mini desserts! Dawn, the girls and I had a blast catching up and stuffing ourselves with great food in a fun atmosphere.
Let me know if you get a chance to check out Chroma. I know you’ll be addicted like I am!
