One thing I thought I’d never do in life is get a pass to Disney World. I surprised myself (and others) by doing just that this weekend. But, I have a legitimate reason. ALL my friends have one. Ok not all, but many. And what happens when all the friends go to the park all the time? You join in. I already have 3 trips scheduled before the end of the year alone. Sigh…who am I? By the end of this post you’ll be asking yourself just that.
Believe it or not, I think we’re just now wrapping up the
year months of Joey’s birthday celebrations. That man. He knows how to have a good time for his birthday. I don’t hate it. This final bash was held at – you guessed it – Disney. We started at SanJam Lounge to gather the troops. And partake in a bloody mary bar. You heard that right – bloody. mary. bar. Amazing.
Next stop: Magic Kingdom. After parking the cars at Epcot, we took the slightly confusing monorail over to MK and while we were avoiding the scorching heat of the sun, we rode some rides. Pirates, Haunted Mansion and well…the amazing Space Mountain.
Moving on. Epcot time. The natural last stop of any trip. By this time it’s already dark but we don’t care. We peruse some countries. Ok only one – Mexico. Then dinner was had in Germany. Where we ate our faces off and learned out to say “no more pants” in German. You just had to be there. Then we hauled ass to London – because every night should also end at the Rose and Crown. Watching the fireworks.
So I guess we learned two things this day. Joey throws a hell of a birthday. And Disney doesn’t suck. Til next time, Disney…
