I’ll admit it. I’ve been a slacker lately when it comes to my yoga practice. The other day, I saw a Facebook invite for Yoga in the Galleries and I quickly told myself to sign up immediately and. just. go. It’s only been forever and a day since I’ve practiced. Le sigh.
I mean, the event was being hosted less than a mile from my home, AND taught by my favorite yogis. What did I have to lose? Read: nothing. Other than it was being held in the middle of my Sunday. But, oh well.
Held quarterly at the Orlando Museum of Art (OMA), Theresa and Calvin from College Park Yoga instruct a room full of ~60 students in a yoga practice in the middle of a bunch of beautiful artwork. Yoga and art – fun right?
^^don’t let the photo fool you, the room was full by the time the class started!
It was a great class with the always-awesome Theresa and Calvin. I even made a fun friend who recommended I check out her daughter’s yoga studio in Key West. Note to Pamela – we are totally going to check it out!
Anyway, I totally recommend Yoga in the Galleries. This is my non-sponsored, un-biased opinion of a girl who just loves her local studio. Namaste :)
