Over the weekend, the whole family + me took a short trek to the Canyons in Park City. Now you may think, what is there to do at a ski mountain in the summer? Well kids, there is plenty to do. (Side note: My blog is starting to sound like a kids cartoon. I’ve watched more cartoons last week than I’d like to admit.)
Anyway. From biking to dining to hiking to gondola rides…the options are seemingly endless for fun outdoor activities. (Side note #2: Laur- I saw a big chess set here in the lawn and I forgot to take a photo. For reasons only you’d understand.)
We took the gondola up the mountain, and then a lift even further before hiking on a trail to a lake in the sky. Or rather just a lake at over 8,000 feet up. Preston and Harlow attempted fishing, then opted out for some feeding of the fish off the dock. A fun hike down topped off a great little afternoon.
Sadly, that is the one and only photo of Aleisha and I from the entire trip. I sucked at photo taking, I admit it. Blogger of the year. Oh yeah and thanks to her for letting me borrow her sunglasses for the rest of the weekend. She really was the best host and let me stay with her for a long time (hopefully not too long).
Is it Friday yet? One more day, folks. One more day.
