Jen from That’s What She Read (and Allie from TOATS) have this great link up called the Pit and the Peak. Going over the high and low of each week. Which is fun to switch it up on a Friday. So here we are for this week…
Shall we start with the pit? It’s always good to get the bad stuff out of the way, I think. So as I scrambled through memories of the week, I had a tough time finding the bad stuff. And there really wasn’t one moment that stuck out from the rest. Since we all know I’m not going to go all emo on you guys. So, I’ll have to just admit one thing that broke my cat dog*’s heart.
His disqualification from the Olympics.
This is a fun time of year. The Olympics started last night. The opening ceremony is tonight. And I’m all about watching it whenever possible. But Jack. He had high hopes on the luge event this year. And he didn’t qualify. We’ll just leave it at that.
And now to the peak. I had a lot of great stuff this week. Between getting back to my groove at yoga 2x a week …
…to the big deal of getting invited to attend our yearly Marketing Club trip – which is going to go down in Playa del Carmen, Mexico next month! A 5-day, 4-night all-expenses paid trip to an amazing resort with everyone else who worked their asses off in marketing and hit their numbers? Hell to the yes. In March, you’ll find me here. Nuff said.
So I’d say that is a pretty good “peak.” And on that note, I’m signing off. Have a great weekend kids! Stay safe. Don’t talk to strangers. And don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.
