What a whirlwind weekend, right? How it it Monday already? But, lucky for me, I have a short week ahead. Without rambling on too much, how about we jump into a weekend recap of my little trip to Naples? Linking up with the lovely Biana, but of course.
It was high time I made it down to Naples and see my oldest and dearest friend, Kim. We have known each other since grade school and she is the reason why I made Florida my home at all (so all you local kids should thank her!). I was so excited to see her, her husband and her gorgeous girls.
On Friday, I worked through lunch to jet out an hour early to get on the road. It’s only about 3-3.5 hours to this gorg coastal town and I figured, every little bit helps. Well, not so much. It took about an hour longer with stop and go traffic for oh, the first 50 miles. Insert angry face emoji. But it was all worth it to see this sweet face below.
Saturday was coffee at the cutest organic store, Food & Thought, before making our way to 5th avenue for some local art.
And played with this cute girl (look at those lashes!)…before Kim and I headed out for some girl time and adult beverages.
A whirlwind but fun weekend. Many laughs and full of memories. Thanks for letting me crash your home yet again, Kimmy!
I couldn’t finish this recap without including some images of some of the back woods Florida entertainment while driving home yesterday…(minus the Ferrari racing truck, that was rad)
