There’s something about staying in a rental vs a hotel when it comes to beach vacations. I love a well-appointed hotel, but the charm and detail you can find in this cottage made it the perfect choice for my recent time out of town.
There are so many details around every corner. From the lovely staff who greeted me when I arrived, to the swinging hammocks between a few trees…I enjoyed all the fun things these villas had to offer. I had my own little room closer to the back of the property, a small studio that had everything I needed (which isn’t much on a beach vacation). My unit had a queen bed, mini bar set up, and full bathroom. For my convenience, they provided beach towels as well as chairs to take to the beach. << which I totally used. So handy.
There was a pool in the middle of the villas which was a nice option if you aren’t in the mood for sand (read: most parents. It. gets. everywhere.) I enjoyed the Adirondack chairs that were right outside my room where I had the opportunity to take advantage of the free wifi to get in some solid writing.
The best part of the place is the proximity to the beach. I was about a block away from the sand, which was perfect for my multiple visits to the ocean. A sunset is something that can’t be missed – no excuses!
Overall, it was a great trip and I’m looking forward to a future visit next time I’m in town!
Stay tuned for a future post where I highlight some of the fun places I visited, and where you need to eat if you ever get the chance to visit the beautiful Siesta Key.
Oh and in case you missed it – beach trip recap here.
Thank you to the Siesta Key Beachside Villas for the lovely stay. All opinions are 100% my own.
