Happy Wednesday my little nature bugs! I appreciate all the love on Monday…it’s an important day we’ll never forget. Spreading love and compassion will be somewhat of my mantra for the year (and hopefully forever of course!).
I took a little minute break from my PA recaps and I think I’m almost done! Haha sure, ok. Today, I’m back with some more nature-fueled PA love. Today we’re going for a stroll on the Appalachian Trail. We brought all the kiddos and laced up our shoes for some time outside (complete with a bucket full of ticket repellant in oil form). These perfect days weren’t ending and I was a huge fan!
Spanning over 2,000 miles and 14 states, it fortunate that PA residents have so many options for entry points right at their fingertips. I think I’ll go up to Georgia sometime to check out the end of it in the south! Not in the summer, though, that’s for sure.
Super ugly day right? We ended up hiking for just a little while, as the tiny humans with short legs weren’t the biggest fans of longer journey. And maybe me with my pants as I am super good at packing and forgot shorts. Normalle. But at the end of the day, even the littlest one had fun strolling along. There were amazing views from a place called the 501 lookout, north of us in PA.
Thanks for the beautiful afternoon, Laur! Next time, I’ll try to bring better shoes, haha.
